In our rapidly changing world, art museums like the National Gallery of Denmark play an important role in helping to build a more creative and reflective society. AFSMK was founded in 2009 to strengthen the ties between the National Gallery of Denmark (SMK) and Americans, both in the US and in Denmark. Our tours, lectures, exhibitions, and other programs broaden understanding of and deepen connections with Danish art. Support from our generous donors advances these initiatives and underwrites important work at SMK as well. Our donors may choose to become patrons, and receive benefits such as invitations to our events, or to make unrestricted gifts of any size.
